Renowned Ghanaian musician Okyeame Kwame has opened up about a difficult decision from his past that continues to weigh on his conscience.
In an interview with Kofi Kum Bilson on Peace FM, he revealed that his biggest regret was deceiving a woman he once deeply loved.
During his early years in the United States, Okyeame Kwame was in a committed relationship with a woman he intended to marry.
However, after returning to Ghana, he unexpectedly fell in love with someone else. Adhering to his belief in monogamy, he felt compelled to be honest and ended the relationship.
The revelation devastated his former partner, who vowed never to marry again. This, he admitted, has remained a source of guilt, especially knowing she has remained single ever since.
Despite this lingering regret, Okyeame Kwame made it clear that his marriage to Annica is fulfilling and remains the best thing that has ever happened to him.
