Iyabo Ojo Speaks on Mohbad’s Death, Reveals Regrets Over Exhumation
Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has attributed the success and blessings in her life, as well as those of her children, to the kindness and goodwill she has shown over the years.
Speaking in an interview with Seun Oloketuyi, she reflected on her journey, emphasizing that the positive outcomes she enjoys today are a direct result of her past actions. She also underscored the importance of self-sufficiency, stating that in difficult times, people ultimately
have to fend for themselves.
Touching on parenthood, Iyabo Ojo shared how having children at a young age has kept her feeling youthful and vibrant. She credited her daughter, Priscilla, for introducing her to TikTok, a platform that has become a significant source of income for her.
Without Priscilla’s influence, she admitted, she might not have explored the social media space as much or earned as much from it.
Shifting focus to the late singer Mohbad, she expressed some regret over her previous push for his body to be exhumed, suggesting she now has mixed feelings about the decision.
Meanwhile, she is preparing for a major family celebration—her daughter’s upcoming wedding. Priscilla, who married her Tanzanian fiancé in August, is set to have her grand white wedding in Nigeria this April. Iyabo Ojo has promised a lavish ceremony in Lagos to mark the occasion.
“Good pay. I feel like what I am reaping today or my children are reaping today is the good that I have done.
When I die today, nobody is dying with me. When I am hungry right now, no matter how much you love me, you won’t give me your womb or your intestines to quench my hunger; I have to sort myself out.
Every man is on his own. When you have kids early, trust me you don’t want to grow old because your kids will always make you feel young. Priscilla talked me into using TikTok, if I didn’t have her in my life, I would probably not have made so much money on TikTok,” she said.
