Former Member of Parliament for Assin North and NPP flagbearer hopeful, Kennedy Agyapong, lost his cool during his campaign tour of the Ashanti Region.

In a video circulating on social media, an animated Kennedy Agyapong was seen furiously lamenting and blasting some persons he claimed were intimidating him.

In the same video, he was also heard launching scathing attacks on some NPP faithful in the Ashanti Region, labelling them cowards for losing thousands of votes and parliamentary seats to the NPP.

“It is not what you want that someone wants,” Kennedy Agyapong started.

“I saw the argument there. Have patience. When your man comes, support him.”

The former MP then launched a tirade, warning that nobody could intimidate him and that he would face them.

“I want to assure you, nobody can intimidate anybody here. It won’t work. I am telling you it won’t work. Nobody can intimidate me here.

“You’re not in government. You have no gun and you have no sword. We will face you. We are going to face them. What kind of intimidation is this? You say you like someone and if someone also supports another person, you say it is wrong.”

“There are men here I want to tell you. We are not afraid of anyone. When we keep quiet, it doesn’t mean we are afraid.”

Turning his focus on the party in the region, Kennedy labelled the faithful as cowards who are afraid of the NDC.

“One party, you sit here and claim you’re men, but you run away when NDC guys are coming. You sit here in Kumasi and allow us to lose 400,000 votes.”

“They have taken our seats. Where was your strength? Where was your strength? Please, we are tired! We are not afraid of anybody. You just wait!”
