- Kennedy Agyapong has made a direct appeal to NPP supporters and Ghanaians, asking for a four-year mandate to prove his leadership.
- Speaking during a campaign tour in the Western Region, he promised to deliver results or step aside.
- His pitch centers on youth empowerment, financial growth, and a no-nonsense approach to governance.
Kennedy Agyapong isn’t asking for loyalty. He’s asking for a trial run.
The former Assin Central MP, now gunning for the NPP’s 2028 flagbearer slot, has thrown down a challenge to party delegates and voters alike: give him four years, and if he fails, kick him out.
In a video message shared during his Western Region tour, Agyapong made it clear that he’s not interested in long-term promises or political comfort zones. “Try me for four years,” he said. “If I don’t deliver, vote me out.”
His campaign is built on a platform of economic empowerment, especially for young people and entrepreneurs within the party. He says Ghana’s future depends on building wealth from the ground up — not recycling old political formulas.
This isn’t Agyapong’s first attempt at the top job. After finishing second in the NPP’s 2024 primaries, he’s back with a sharper message: performance over politics. He’s positioning himself as the candidate who will either deliver results or walk away — no excuses, no extensions.
With the NPP’s presidential primaries set for January 2026, Agyapong’s pitch is already stirring debate. Whether his four-year challenge will resonate with delegates remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: he’s not playing it safe.
