Outspoken Ghanaian politician, Kennedy Agyapong, has waded into the controversy involving Sammy Gyamfi and Evangelist Agradaa, offering a stern view of how he would have handled the matter if he were in charge.
During a recent appearance at Central University, the politician made it clear that he disagreed with former President John Mahama’s decision to pardon Sammy Gyamfi in the aftermath of the saga. Rather than showing leniency, Kennedy Agyapong stated he would have taken a harsher route.
In his opinion, allowing Sammy Gyamfi to walk free sent the wrong signal. As a president, he said, he would have taken swift action to dismiss him from his position, believing that such a move would serve as a strong warning to others.
His remarks have stirred public interest, adding a new layer to the ongoing debate surrounding political accountability and consequences in public office.
