While acknowledging that every aspirant brings unique qualities to the table, Nyarko reminded party members that the NPP’s success is bigger than any individual or personal rivalry.

“All the five (5) aspirants contesting to lead the party are all precious assets for the New Patriotic Party, irrespective of the shortcomings of some of them,” he wrote. “We must understand that whoever the party elects on the 31st will not be able to do the work alone and will require the collaboration of all the others and their supporters.”

Kennedy Osei Nyarko further emphasized the need for party members to avoid personal divisions and work together after the election to ensure the collective growth of the party. He urged the aspirants to exercise caution with their public statements during the period leading up to and following the elections.

“We must be a bit tactful and strategic about how we handle each of them,” he said.

“Let’s try as much as possible to shepherd them and their supporters to understand that the party is more supreme than each of the personalities they are supporting in this contest.”
