Kevin Taylor Cuts Ties with Okatakyie Kwame Afrifa Mensah Over Alleged Blackmail and Threats

Kevin Taylor, a Ghanaian social commentator residing in the United States, has publicly announced that he will no longer offer assistance to media figure Okatakyie Kwame Afrifa Mensah.

This decision comes after an incident of alleged blackmail that has created further tension in their already strained relationship.

In a recent vlog, Taylor shared his decision, revealing that he had previously saved Afrifa’s life on two separate occasions.

However, he emphasized that he would not extend his help again, particularly following accusations of blackmail made against Afrifa. According to Taylor, Afrifa had sent a WhatsApp message to a mutual acquaintance, threatening to release compromising photographs of the person unless they intervened to get Taylor to retract an exposé he was working on.

Taylor expressed admiration for the individual who had received the threat, praising their intelligence in capturing screenshots of Afrifa’s messages as evidence.

He criticized Afrifa’s behavior, calling him immature and lacking intellectual maturity, and reiterated his stance on not engaging with individuals under the age of 40 due to their perceived lack of wisdom.

Further, Taylor shared his concerns about Afrifa’s health, stating that Afrifa suffers from a serious heart condition. Despite previously helping Afrifa in times of need, Taylor stated that he would not intervene again.

He described Afrifa as resembling “a walking dead” due to his health issues, expressing sympathy but remaining firm in his decision to distance himself.

The feud between Taylor and Afrifa has been a longstanding one, marked by public clashes and exchanges of harsh words.
