In a scathing critique, Netherlands-based content creator, Kofi Gabs, has accused Prophet Oja of making a “cheap attempt” to grab attention with his recent prophecy about musician Black Sherif.
Prophet Oja’s prophecy, made on December 31st, claimed that Black Sherif would never have another hit song, citing spiritual forces as the reason.
However, Kofi Gabs has vehemently disputed the prophecy, labeling it as a desperate bid for fame.
“It’s laughable!” Kofi Gabs exclaimed.
“Where were these prophets when Black Sherif was walking up and down the streets of Konongo, struggling to make a name for himself?”
Kofi Gabs’ criticism highlights the perceived opportunism of some prophets, who he believes use sensational prophecies to gain notoriety.
“This is nothing but a cheap attempt to grab attention,” he emphasized.
The backlash against Prophet Oja’s prophecy has been swift, with many Ghanaians echoing Kofi Gabs’ sentiments.
As the debate rages on, one thing is clear: Prophet Oja’s prophecy has sparked a national conversation about the motivations of some prophets and the impact of their words on individuals and society.
