The Asantehene remarked on the significance of Kinaata’s lyrics, stating, “Sometimes listen to the wisdom of our musicians and reflect on a piece like Kofi Kinaata’s *‘Obi nya waye,’* which means ‘Someone wishes they were like you.’”
