The 2003 year group of Kpando Secondary School, now Senior High School, on Saturday, February 21, transformed a public garden in the Volta Regional capital into a vibrant space of reunion, reflection and renewed purpose.

Clad in coordinated attire and buoyed by music and camaraderie, members of the cohort gathered for what the year group president, Mr Gift Tsamah Esq, described as a garden party aimed at strengthening old ties, thanking God for their lives and opportunities, while charting a collective path forward for their alma mater.

The event drew alumni from across the country, many of whom had not seen one another since leaving school over two decades ago.

Laughter, embraces and nostalgic conversations defined the afternoon as former classmates reminisced about their school days and shared updates on their professional and personal journeys.

Beyond the convivial atmosphere, the gathering also carried a deeper significance. The party served as a platform to rally support for the group’s proposed 18-unit classroom block with auxiliary facilities for the school.

Addressing the gathering, Mr Tsamah emphasised the importance of unity and sustained engagement among members and resource allocation for the project.

The garden setting provided a relaxed backdrop for networking and informal pledges of support, as members discussed strategies for fundraising and outreach.
