The campaign team of Kwabena Agyei Agyepong has announced a Policy Day event slated for Tuesday, January 20, 2026, as part of activities leading to the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential primary scheduled for January 31, 2026.

In a press statement issued on January 15, 2026, the KAAforPresident 2028 Campaign team said the event, dubbed “Leadership with Integrity, Uniting the NPP”, will take place at 1:00pm and will be broadcast live on KAA’s social media platforms as well as selected television and radio stations across the country.

The Policy Day, which comes just 11 days before the NPP’s internal elections, is expected to provide Agyepong the opportunity to outline his policy vision for the party and the country.

According to the statement, the address will focus on economic renewal, party unity and meritocracy, anchored on what the campaign describes as leadership through service, sacrifice and selflessness.

The event will also feature a special address by Dr Lawrencia Agyepong, alongside a live media engagement and question-and-answer session.

Major television and radio networks, including UTV, GTV, JoyNews, Adom TV, GHOne, Metro TV, Neat FM, Citi FM, Asempa FM, Graphic Online and GhanaWeb, are expected to provide live coverage of the event.

Commenting on the significance of the Policy Day, Kwabena Agyei Agyepong said it marks a defining moment in his campaign journey.

“This Policy Day crowns our campaign journey since July 2025. Together, we go back to our roots with principled leadership that unites the NPP for victory,” he stated.

The campaign team has encouraged media houses interested in covering the event to seek accreditation ahead of time.

Agyepong, a former General Secretary of the NPP, is among the contenders seeking to lead the party into the 2028 general elections.
