Kwame Adinkrah Presents Copy of His PhD Thesis to Asantehene

Seasoned broadcaster Dr Luther King Kwame Adinkrah has presented a copy of his Doctor of Philosophy thesis to the Monarch of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

The study under the theme, “Visual Pollution and Urban Livability in Kumasi,” was presented at the Akwasidae Festival on February 1, 2026.

He expressed his delight over meeting His Majesty in a social media post and sought the King’s intervention for a practical implementation of his recommendations.

“It is my firm conviction that his insights and counsel will greatly enrich the practical implementation of the recommendations contained in the study titled, ‘Visual Pollution and Urban Livability in Kumasi’.”

The public speaker graduated from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) with a Doctor of Philosophy in Communication Design last year.

Beyond the radio waves, he has shared his expertise as a prominent judge on television reality programs like TV3 Mentor, Ghana’s Most Beautiful, and the maiden edition of Coca-Cola Hit Single. His leadership was also evident when he chaired the entertainment committee for the Kumasi Venue Organising Committee during CAN 2008.

Deeply rooted in Ghanaian tradition and culture, Kwame remains actively involved in community and cultural initiatives.

Notably, he serves on the planning committee established by Otumfuo Osei Tutu II to develop the Otumfuo Charity Foundation Teachers Award, a testament to his commitment to education and philanthropy.

Recognised for his excellence in broadcasting, Kwame was honoured as the Best Morning Show Host at the 2015 Radio and Television Personality Awards (RTP). His multifaceted career and unwavering dedication continue to inspire and elevate the legacy of KNUST.
