Lady Calls Out VeryDarkMan Over Alleged Fake Money Transfer

A woman has sparked controversy online after accusing outspoken social media critic, Verydarkman, of making a fraudulent bank transfer.

The allegations surfaced shortly after Gospel singer Mercy Chinwo filed a ₦1.1 billion lawsuit against him in connection with her legal battle against former record label boss, Eezee Tee.

In a video shared online, Verydarkman claimed he had financially assisted a former secondary school mate by transferring ₦1 million.

He even presented a WhatsApp chat as evidence, explaining that they had reconnected at a salon before he decided to send the money.

However, discrepancies in the transaction details have raised suspicions.

The chat with his acquaintance reportedly began on February 3, 2025, yet the bank transfer receipt indicates the money was sent a day earlier. This inconsistency has led some online users to question the authenticity of his claim.

The situation has ignited debates across social media, with people divided in their opinions. Some believe it was an honest mistake, suggesting he may have mistakenly shared the wrong transaction slip, while others argue that the inconsistency damages his credibility.
