Lady shocked as boyfriend disagrees with her on aborting baby

A young student recently found herself in a deeply distressing situation after discovering she is 16 weeks pregnant. Anonymously sharing her story, she describes the overwhelming pressure from her boyfriend’s family upon learning of her desire to terminate the pregnancy.

“I found out that I’m pregnant, and I’m already 16 weeks along,” she said, describing her initial shock. Feeling unprepared for motherhood, especially as she is still a student, she confided in her boyfriend about her consideration of an abortion.

“I told him last night that I wanted to get rid of it,” she recalled. “He told me to sleep and said he would come over in the morning to talk.”

To her surprise, her boyfriend arrived the next morning with his mother and uncle. They expressed strong opposition to her decision, invoking their family traditions and beliefs.

“They said in their family, it’s a taboo to abort a child,” she explained. “And to complicate things further, my scan shows there are two children.”

Her boyfriend’s family did not hold back in expressing their disapproval, leaving her feeling overwhelmed and trapped. As a student, she feels mentally unprepared for the responsibility of raising twins, yet the cultural and familial pressures are mounting.

“They want to go and see my family, and I don’t even know how to take them there,” she said, her voice filled with anxiety. “I’m dreading my dad’s reaction.”

“I feel like vanishing from this earth,” she admitted. “I’m in hot water.”
