Don’t let anything stop you, it is difficult enough to be born a woman in a world where men dominate but it is not impossible to achieve every single dream, not as a man, but as a woman.

Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey has encouraged women and young girls to stay focused and committed to achieving their dreams, emphasizing that success comes with hard work and dedication not on a silver platter.

In a heartfelt message, the Minister acknowledged the difficulties women face in a male-dominated world but emphasized that these challenges can be overcome. She encouraged women to embrace their unique qualities and strengths, rather than trying to emulate men, and to lead with passion and compassion.

“Let your feminine nature reflect in who you become, the leader you become. I don’t think we all have to behave like men to be able to make impact otherwise our gender will not be necessary”, she noted in an interview on Monday, January, 26, 2026.

Dr. Lartey urged women not to let societal challenges hold them back, highlighting the importance of humility, respect, and trust in God.
