In a recent interview on Opemsuo Radio, renowned Ghanaian actor Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lil Win, discussed his upcoming movie project titled ‘A Journey to Africa.’ Despite his continued success and popularity, Lil Win revealed that he has yet to see substantial returns from his investments in the movie industry.
“Like I said before, there is no business I have done that I have gotten even a quarter of my investment back. If I don’t gift my movies to the stations, they can’t buy them because the job is not there. People used to go to town to purchase CDs, but now it is no more,” he lamented.
Lil Win highlighted that the shift from physical sales to other forms of distribution has significantly impacted his revenue. “What sustains me now is the fame, which brings deals for commercials and the music I make,” he added.
