Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lil Win, appeared in court for the third time on July 29, 2024, regarding a fatal accident that occurred on May 25, 2024, in the Ashanti Region.

His lawyer, Margaret Mary Adjei Twum, reiterated that her client is innocent until proven guilty.

The accident, which involved Lil Win’s vehicle, resulted in the death of a three-year-old boy.

Eyewitnesses alleged that Lil Win was overspeeding and veered off his lane, colliding with an oncoming vehicle. The actor was charged with dangerous driving, negligently causing harm, and using an unregistered vehicle. He was granted GH¢50,000 bail.

During the court proceedings, the prosecutor mentioned that the case files are still under review at the Attorney General’s office.

Lil Win’s lawyer expressed her readiness to defend her client’s innocence, emphasizing that they will await the reports from the Attorney General before adjusting their defense strategy.

The lawyer also expressed her client’s concern for the well-being of the deceased’s family, hoping for their comfort and closure.
