The actor made the revelation during a discussion with media personalities Kwame Gee and Trouble Carlos while addressing criticism about scenes in his movies.
Lilwin explained that many of the scenes in his productions are inspired by real-life experiences and are meant not only to entertain audiences but also to educate them about situations people face in everyday life.
According to the actor, one of the life experiences that inspired a movie storyline was the shocking result of a DNA test which revealed that a child he had been fathering for ten years was not biologically his.
Despite the painful discovery, Lilwin said he did not allow the situation to overwhelm him.
The Kumawood star noted that the DNA result did not deeply upset him because he believes he has already helped raise and support many children through various means, including his school.
However, he admitted that what made him somewhat angry was the conduct of the child’s mother, who he claims allegedly knew the child belonged to another man but still treated him poorly.
Lilwin explained that experiences like these are part of the reason he incorporates real-life stories into his films, with the aim of advising and educating people about relationships, trust and responsibility.
The actor, who is also a film producer, has built a reputation for using his movies to combine comedy with social messages, drawing inspiration from events he has encountered in his personal life.
