Madam Adwoa Serwa Bondzie appointed acting Executive Secretary of Energy Commission

The Energy Commission has  announced the appointment of Madam Adwoa Serwa Bondzie as the Acting Executive Secretary of the Commission. She takes over from Mrs Eunice Biritwum.

In a statement announcing the new head, the Commission said Madam Adwoa Serwaa Bondzie is an executive leader with over 15 years of experience in business development,energy transition and strategic management.

Recognized for driving innovation and sustainability, she has led initiatives that establish organizations as industry leaders and improve public service delivery.

“Her ability to connect technical and commercial functions has consistently advanced operational excellence, profitability and long-term value.” The statement explained.

Madam Bondzie pioneered the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company BOST, first Trading Desk,designing a fuel-trading system that generated $20 million in profit within two years and set a new standard for operational efficiency.

She led the expansion of Ghana’s strategic petroleum reserves from 4 to 12 weeks between 2014 and 2016,strengthening national energy security and earning the BOST Leadership & Dedication Award in 2015.

Earlier,she managed multi-million-dollar engineering projects for TechInsights Canada,delivering on time and to high quality standards for international clients.

Madam Bondzie holds an MSc in Public Policy from the University of Bath,an MBA in International Business and Strategy from Henley Business School,a BSc in Information and Communication Technology from GIMPA,and a Graduate Diploma in Project Management from Algonquin College.
