- Authorities say Warren even requested bereavement leave from work before the crime, underscoring its premeditated nature.
A murder that prosecutors are calling “heartbreaking” has shaken Colerain Township, Ohio — and the details are as disturbing as they are deliberate.
Kayvon Warren, 30, is accused of plotting the murder of his pregnant girlfriend, 26-year-old India Kinamore, on the very day she was expected to give birth to their child. According to Hamilton County prosecutors, Warren enlisted two friends — Robert Ervin, 20, and Lamar Morris Suggs, 22 — to help carry out the killing, which was staged to look like a burglary gone wrong.
The trio allegedly broke into Kinamore’s home around 6 a.m. on March 4, 2023, and shot her dead. Her six-year-old son was reportedly inside the house at the time of the attack.
Investigators say Warren had been pressuring Kinamore to terminate the pregnancy, citing financial struggles and a relationship with another woman. When that failed, he allegedly turned to murder — even requesting bereavement leave from work before the crime took place, a move prosecutors say highlights the calculated nature of the act.
The indictment includes 13 counts, ranging from aggravated murder and burglary to felony assault. Ervin and Suggs also face weapons charges. Suggs is currently serving time for unrelated offenses, while Warren and Ervin remain in custody on $600,000 bond.
Hamilton County Prosecutor Connie Pillich condemned the crime, stating that her office will pursue justice for both India and her unborn child.
