An intense domestic conflict in Assin Wurakese has left a woman severely injured and police searching for the man accused of causing it. The disturbing incident unfolded after a dinner dispute spiraled into a violent confrontation between a 25-year-old man and his 53-year-old partner.
Reports indicate that the altercation was sparked by dissatisfaction over the amount of goat meat served during a meal. Frustrated by the portion, the younger man allegedly turned on his lover in a fit of rage, unleashing a brutal assault.
The victim, Grace Mensah, was left with a broken leg and several other injuries following the attack. She is currently receiving critical care at a medical facility.
The suspect, identified only as Arhinful, fled the area immediately after the incident. Authorities at the Assin Fosu Police Command have since launched a manhunt to locate and apprehend him.
