Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah commissioning the new health centre

The Member of Parliament for Techiman South, Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah, has commissioned a refurbished health centre and donated essential medical equipment to serve the people of Kuntunso, Tadieso and Bomiri (KUTABOM).

The facility, which was funded and refurbished by the MP, is expected to improve access to quality healthcare for residents of the three communities.

In addition to the renovation, Adjei-Mensah Korsah presented vital medical devices to enhance service delivery at the centre.

The donated items included delivery beds, detention beds, sterilizers, delivery equipment, hanging scales, weighing scales and examination lamps, among others, to support accurate diagnosis and effective treatment.

The commissioning ceremony, held on Sunday, February 15, 2026, attracted traditional leaders and residents from the beneficiary communities.

Among the chiefs present were Nana Boakye Ansah, Odikro of Kuntunso; Nana Abraham Opoku, who represented the Tadiesohene; and Nana Baffuor Gyan, Chief of Bomiri.

Addressing the gathering, Adjei-Mensah Korsah reaffirmed his commitment to improving healthcare delivery in the constituency.

“Enhancing healthcare remains one of my top priorities. That is why I invested heavily in refurbishing this facility and providing modern equipment to boost its capacity to deliver quality care to our people,” he said.

He added that similar support would soon be extended to other communities.

“In the coming weeks, five more health centres at Baamiri, Asantanso, Traa, Mateso and Asutia will receive essential medical equipment to strengthen healthcare delivery across the constituency,” he disclosed.

Speaking on behalf of the traditional authorities, Nana Boakye Ansah expressed appreciation to the MP for his intervention.

“We are deeply grateful for this gesture. This facility will save lives and improve the wellbeing of our people. We pray that God protects and guides you in all your endeavours,” he said.

The medical equipment was officially received by the Metropolitan Health Director, Kusi Fosu Hene, who commended the MP for supporting the health sector.

“This donation will go a long way to improve service delivery and patient care in these communities. We assure you that the equipment will be put to good use,” Dr Fosu Hene stated.

Residents welcomed the initiative, describing it as a major boost to healthcare delivery in the KUTABOM area and a step towards reducing avoidable referrals and maternal health risks.
