In a move to ensure the success of government-led agricultural initiatives, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Faustina Akeyom Abulu, conducted an unannounced monitoring visit to beneficiaries of the “Nkoko Nkitinkiti” flagship program on Friday, February 20, 2026.

​Accompanied by a technical team including the Municipal Director of Agriculture and the Chairperson of the Agriculture Sub-committee, the MCE toured various breeding facilities to assess operational standards and the health of the livestock.

A post on Facebook reads;

The Honourable Municipal Chief Executive on Friday 20/02/26 paid an unannounced visit to some beneficiaries of government’s flagship program “Nkoko nkitinkiti”. She was accompanied by the Mun. Director of Agriculture, Chairperson of the Agriculture sub committee, and Others.

The visit was aimed at inspecting the breeding facility and its operations. She emphasized the importance of maintaining high standards in poultry production.

The Municipal Director of Agriculture commended the cleanliness and suitability of the breeding structure, noting that the current season will positively support bird production. He assured that the birds will soon be ready for the market and pledged continuous technical support from the department to ensure proper care and management.
