Although she did not mention names directly, Wendy Shay used the post to hint at difficulties she has encountered while trying to guide and support the two rising talents.
According to Wendy Shay, her efforts to nurture Tracy Shay and Korkor Shay into future global stars have allegedly been hindered by their parents.
Wendy Shay implied that the parents have been interfering in nearly every decision she makes concerning the girls’ careers.
She suggested that despite her good intentions and professional experience in the music industry, the constant involvement of the parents has become a stumbling block in executing long-term plans for the protégés.
In 2025, Wendy Shay publicly announced that she had taken Tracy Shay and Korkor Shay under her wing.
At the time, she promised to mentor them musically and support them through to the completion of their tertiary education, a move that earned her praise from many Ghanaians.
