Five persons have been summoned by the Abuja magistrate court for “criminal defamation” against Mercy Chinwo and her husband, Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa.
The summons ordering them to appear in person before the court on April 23, 2023, to respond to the accusations made against them.
This seems to be linked to the derogatory remarks by some social media users that Mercy Chinwo’s son resembled Nathaniel Bassey after his face was made public the first time.
Following these paternity claims, Okoronkwo Ejike, Kingsley Ibeh, DJ Spoiltkid, Terrence Ekot, and Samuel Agozie have been sued for alleged acts of Criminal Defamation that were carried out through deliberate circulation of injurious falsehood, cyber bullying and cyberstalking.
