The Ministry of Finance has officially relocated its offices from the Ministries enclave to Kanda in Accra, with full operations set to begin at the new location on Monday, February 9, 2026.

In a statement issued on Friday, February 6, 2026 the ministry said the move forms part of efforts to improve efficiency, coordination, and responsiveness in the execution of its mandate

According to the ministry, the new office facility at Kanda was constructed by the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) before the current administration assumed office, a point the ministry highlighted to clarify the origins of the building now housing the Minister of Finance.

The relocation means that all official business, correspondence, and visits to the Ministry of Finance will now be handled at its new address on Tumu Avenue, Kanda.

The ministry’s digital address is GV-002-6511, with postal correspondence directed to P.O. Box MB 40, Ministries, Accra.

Officials say the move is expected to enhance service delivery and improve engagement with stakeholders, as the ministry settles into its new premises.

“The public is further informed that the new office facility at Kanda was constructed by the Ghana Revenue Authority prior to the current administration assuming office,” it said.

The announcement was issued by the Public Relations Unit of the Ministry of Finance and took immediate effect.
