Mohammed Shiraz-Deen declares bid for NPP Regional Communications Officer

New Patriotic Party Constituency Secretary for Bole Bamboi, M. Shiraz-Deen

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Constituency Secretary for Bole Bamboi, Mohammed Shiraz-Deen has announced that he will contest for the position of Savannah Regional Communications Officer of the NPP.

In a statement to party members on February 19, 2026, he said he took the decision after consulting widely across the Savannah Region.

According to him, the party needs strong and active communication as it goes through its internal restructuring.

“My decision is driven by a profound love for our great party and an unwavering commitment to its success.

“I have served the NPP diligently in various capacities, including as Polling Station Secretary, Deputy Constituency Secretary, and Constituency IT Coordinator,” he said.

Shiraz-Deen has served the NPP for many years at the grassroots level.

He started as a Polling Station Secretary and later became Deputy Constituency Secretary, Constituency IT Coordinator and he currently serving as Constituency Secretary for Bole-Bamboi.

Because of this long service, he says he understands the party from the bottom to the top.

According to him, he believes his experience can help strengthen communication in the region.

“I want to build a communication team that speaks clearly, responds quickly and keeps party members well informed. He also wants better training and support for communication officers at the polling station, constituency and regional levels.”

“I believe with unity and teamwork, the NPP in the Savannah Region can become stronger and more organised, ” he added.
