MP to renovate Kayereso Health Centre as contractor moves to site

On Sunday, 25 January 2026, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Salaga South, accompanied by the Constituency Chairman, led a delegation to Kayereso on behalf of the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Constituency, Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimiah to formally inform the community of the MP’s decision to renovate the Kayereso Health Centre.

During the engagement, the delegation announced that the renovation contract had been duly awarded and that the contractor had already moved to site to commence work.

Residents of Kayereso expressed appreciation for the intervention, describing it as timely and much needed.

They noted that the poor condition of the health centre had been a long-standing concern in the community.

The residents therefore welcomed the project with optimism and appealed for the speedy completion of the works to enable them to access improved and quality healthcare services.
