Kweku Smoke is a Ghanaian rapper
Ghanaian rapper Kweku Smoke has expressed his heartfelt appreciation to his fanbase during his performance at the just-ended Accra Technical University SRC Week.
In a video shared on X and sighted by GhanaWeb on February 17, 2026, the rapper paused mid-performance to thank his supporters for their unwavering loyalty throughout his career.
According to Kweku Smoke, his family would have been in a poor state without the support of his fans.

He added that his success today is directly tied to the people who love and listen to his music.
“I feel you people more than you do. If I had it my way, I would put my neck on the line for you. If not for you people, my mother would have slept hungry. You listen to my music so I can make money and support my family. You are the real superstars. If you like, tear my dress because you are the ones who bought it. May God bless you,” he said.
Kweku Smoke also pledged to pay the school fees of three needy but brilliant students of the university.
He explained that he understands their struggles because his mother, at one point, had to borrow money to put him through university.

“When I leave here, I am going to look for the SRC President. My mother didn’t have money, so before I leave, they should bring me about three needy but intelligent students so I can pay their school fees.
“I want to pay someone’s school fees so they can also remember my effort one day. If not for God and you people, I wouldn’t be here. My mother borrowed money to put me through university,” he added.
