Popular Ghanaian media personality Nana Aba Anamoah has responded sharply to a Twitter user who requested $200 to pay their rent.
The user, who has a history of posting critical and insulting comments on the platform, received a stinging reply from Anamoah that quickly went viral.
The exchange began when the user asked Anamoah for financial help to cover their rent. In her reply, Anamoah highlighted the irony of the user’s request given their online behavior. “You can buy data to sit on Twitter and insult me, Shatta, and other people but you can’t afford to pay your rent?” she retorted. “I wish you and your landlord well.”
Nana Aba Anamoah, known for her no-nonsense attitude, has often been the target of online trolls.

Nana Aba Anamoah, widely known as the ‘English Madam’ on social media for her exceptional fluency in English, has had an illustrious career in broadcasting. Before resigning from TV3, she was a prominent news presenter and hosted several top-rated shows, including The Divas Show.
Anamoah served as the General Manager of GHOne TV and Starr 103.5 FM. She currently holds the position of Director of Business Development at the EIB Network. Additionally, she is an ambassador for women’s football in Ghana and plays an active role in promoting the sport.
She is a dedicated member of the Women’s Premier League Committee in Ghana and is known for her passion for football, avidly supporting Manchester United and Accra Great Olympics.
