Is Napo going to be Dr. Bawumia’s running mate? This has been the question Ghanaians have pondered over ever since Dr. Bawumia stood tallest among his competitors in the just ended NPP primaries.
Speaking in an interview on Angel FM, former NPP chairman for Fomena constituency, Kwasi Nti Asamoah answered to such questions.
The NPP bigwig has stated categorically that “Dr. Bawumia cannot change his running mate. It is NAPO he will give it to”.
The former Fomena Chairman noted that he is optimistic that history would repeat itself, noting that “Former President Akufo-Addo took his running mate three times, and eventually they won.”
Kwasi Nti went on to state that “The party has invested in him and has put him out there already”, adding that “The running mate will never change. That is how it will be. The Almighty NAPO will be his running mate”.
The bigwig falsified claims that Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh speaks anyhow, stating that “NAPO speaks well. Those critiquing his speaking are wrong. And even when he makes mistakes, he will be corrected. With time, he will be perfect.”
