The Ghana National Service Authority (GNSA) has announced the release of electronic certificates of past service personnel.

The certificates can be accessed and downloaded through the NSA portal: in accordance with the approved procedures provided on the platform.

In a statement, the Authority added that past personnel who require the hardcopy of the certificates or access to e-certificates can apply to the service instantly on the NSA portal.

“This service is available at a prescribed fee and is provided as an optional digital service, not compulsory,” it noted.

Annual Evaluation Forms
In addition, it announced that the Annual Evaluation Forms for the 2024/2025 service year have been on the NSA Portal.

“All personnel within the 2024/2025 service year are kindly requested to download, complete, and submit the duly endorsed forms to their respective District National Service Offices.”

It noted that 2024/2025 service personnel can access their e-certificates after submitting the approved Annual Evaluation Form.

Procedure for Accessing the E-Certificate
To initiate the process, past personnel are required to submit an online request with NSS details and then await approval, which could last for up to 5 working days.

Once the request is approved, an SMS or Email will be sent to the applicant to make way for payment.

The personnel then complete identity verification (KYC) by entering Ghana Card details and taking a live picture of their face using the device’s camera before downloading the e-certificate directly from the portal upon successful verification.

The Authority further encouraged all personnel within the 2024/2025 service batch and past personnel to carefully follow the procedures provided to ensure a smooth and timely process.

“All organisations and stakeholders are therefore encouraged to accord full recognition and acceptance to e-certificates issued by the National Service Authority.”
