Ace Ghanaian musician and NDC sympathizer, Mzbel, has divulged what the NDC told her: that she almost swallowed an unknown insect if not for her fastness.

The “16-Year-Old” hitmaker said that before the 2024 general election, she organized people to trumpet the good policies of the then-opposition NDC party so that if possible, they could canvass for votes.

According to the musician, even though others played a part in the NDC winning power, she also did her best; however, the NDC seems not to have recognized her work.

Mzbel disclosed that after the NDC won power, they told her that she was not under duress to support the party, hence, everything she did was done voluntarily.

“I was told that I was not forced to support the NDC and that my support was voluntary, and so they do not owe me any favours”, she said.

Mzbel however noted that even though she is disappointed in the incumbent NDC party, she has learnt a lot of lessons from what has happened and wouldn’t repeat such in the future.

She shared how the NPP, after supporting them recognized her efforts and made her enjoy some benefits.

She said, “I have learned lessons that will live with me for a very long time. Even in the past, when NPP was in power, I had some benefits. It is worrying that if the benefits I had were 100%, I’ve lost all because I openly campaigned for one side. Today I have learned, and that will equip me to counsel my colleagues who want to join politics”.
