Accra’s Mayor, Hon. Michael Kpakpo Allotey, has expressed confidence that Baba Jamal will secure a landslide victory for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the ongoing Ayawaso East by-election, predicting a 90% win.
Addressing concerns over low voter turnout, Allotey attributed it to the Ramadan fasting period, saying people will vote later in the day after observing their prayers and breaking their fast.
“They’ll wake up early, pray, eat, and rest, then come out to vote around 1 pm,” he explained.
