A newly married couple, Chiedozie and Chidalu, lost their lives in a devastating gas truck explosion at Otedola Bridge in Lagos State, Nigeria.

The tragic incident occurred on March 11, 2025, just weeks after their wedding on February 22, 2025.

Chiedozie, who worked at Zenith Bank, and Chidalu, a nurse based in the United States, had only recently begun their journey as husband and wife when disaster struck.
