A Nigerian medical doctor, Ajidahun Olusina, has issued a caution to men, advising them to avoid certain sex positions that could lead to serious injuries.
Taking to his Twitter page, Dr Olusina highlighted that specific positions increase the risk of penile fractures, which can result in hospital visits. According to him, positions such as doggy style, cowgirl, and reverse cowgirl pose significant health risks for men.
Explaining the medical concerns, he noted that these positions place the penis at a vulnerable angle during thrusting, increasing the likelihood of fractures. Supporting his claims, he referenced a study that found doggy style to be the most dangerous, accounting for 41% of penile fracture cases. This was followed by the man-on-top position at 25.5% and woman-on-top at 9%.
Dr Olusina concluded by urging men to avoid these positions to prevent potential injuries and safeguard their health.
“As a Man there are some sexual positions you should remove from your diary if you don’t want to risk landing in a hospital – Doggy – Cowgirl – Reverse cow girl,” he wrote
