The Board for the 27th Telecel Ghana Music Awards has announced that the published nomination list has not changed after a review of the submissions during the Errors and Omissions Window.

It confirmed that the Board received a number of petitions and appeals from artistes, management teams, and key industry stakeholders, primarily raising concerns relating to category placement, nomination eligibility, and inclusion in specific award categories.

These concerns, it said, were duly examined with the utmost diligence and fairness, in strict adherence to the scheme’s established guidelines and evaluation criteria.

“Following this process, the Board further confirms that the published nominees list remains unaffected,” it said in a statement issued on April 2, 2026, as it congratulated all nominees across the various categories, including Music for Good, Group of the Year, African Song of the Year, and TGMA Unsung.

It further expressed its sincere appreciation to all stakeholders for their engagement, feedback, and continued commitment to the growth of the Ghanaian music industry, affirming that their contributions remain vital to strengthening the credibility and relevance of the TGMA.

It also emphasised its unwavering commitment to fairness and integrity in administering the awards, and to advancing Ghana’s music culture on the global stage.

Errors and Omissions window
As part of the nominations process, the Errors and Omissions window—opened for a one-week period—served as the final stage.

This process was instituted strictly to address verifiable administrative inaccuracies, including but not limited to:
* Incorrect attribution of songs, albums, or artistes
* Technical misclassification of entries into categories
* Eligible works inadvertently omitted despite meeting submission and eligibility requirements
* Spelling, metadata, or credit errors in the published nominees list
