The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has accused the NDC government, led by President John Dramani Mahama, of “smuggling” LGBT content into Ghanaian schools.
Rev. John Ntim Fordjour, MP for Assin South, claimed that the government introduced LGBT concepts and definitions into school curricula, contradicting Ghanaian family values.
He cited a Physical Education and Health teacher’s manual, allegedly printed by the NDC government, which defines gender identity as beyond male and female binary notions.
At a press conference, Rev. Fordjour stated that the NDC government’s actions are a “diabolical” betrayal, exposing students to LGBT ideologies without parental consent. He urged Ghanaians to reject such attempts to alter societal values.
