The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has kick started a nationwide exhibition of its voter register for the party’s presidential primary on Saturday, January 31, 2026.
The exercise which began today, December 31, 2025, and ends on January 5, 2026, will take place across the 276 constituencies in the country.
The exhibition is to ensure accuracy and transparency in the electoral process.
A statement signed and issued by the Secretary to the NPP Presidential Elections Committee (PEC), William Yamoah, said the purpose of the nationwide exhibition of the voter register is to ensure accuracy and transparency in the electoral process. “We designed this initiative to enable all stakeholders, especially delegates, to confirm their details in their respective constituencies and regions, the statement said.
Aspirants
The exhibition is part of preparations for the party’s presidential primary, scheduled for January 31, 2026.
The five aspirants vying for the party’s flagbearer slot are Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, Dr Bryan Acheampong, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, and Kwabena Agyei Agyepong.
Report discrepancies
The PEC urged regional and constituency executives, as well as designated IT officers, to report any discrepancies, including omissions, misspellings, and incorrect photographs, to ensure the register’s accuracy.
The committee urged the flagbearer hopefuls to appoint representatives to observe the exhibition exercise at the constituency level.
