  • He claims he is only aware of two minor allegations, which he says are harmless.
  • Acheampong urges delegates to view the accusations as political propaganda.

  • The party’s presidential primary is set for January 31, 2026, to select its 2028 election candidate.
  • Five aspirants are vying for the NPP flagbearer position: Bryan Acheampong, Kennedy Agyapong, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Kwabena Agyapong, and Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum.

Opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer hopeful, Dr. Bryan Acheampong, has dismissed allegations circulating about his so-called “ten sins,” describing most of them as baseless and harmless.

Speaking to party delegates ahead of the January 2026 presidential primary, Acheampong revealed that eight out of the ten accusations are things he has no knowledge of and only encountered through media reports.

On the two remaining allegations, he insisted they are minor and “not fatal,” adding with confidence that they would not prevent him from going to heaven. Acheampong urged delegates to see the claims as politically motivated propaganda and to treat them with a light-hearted perspective rather than taking them seriously.

The NPP is scheduled to hold its presidential primary on January 31, 2026, where delegates will cast secret ballots to choose the party’s flagbearer for the 2028 general elections.
