George Oti Bonsu, a former financier of the New Patriotic Party and a confidant of Ghanaian politician Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, has disclosed that the NPP has threatened him.
Speaking on a recent interview on UTV monitored by Ghpage, the politician disclosed that, “The Base”, a political party in which he played a vital role in its formation has come to stay and it aims at making the youth of Ghana a better version of themselves.
He noted that, unlike the other political parties that aim at enriching their leaders and a few active members, “The Base” has a different motive and aim.
“The base has come for the youth. We are done with life and have nothing to gain anymore, but you are the future leaders of this country”, he said.
However, George Oti Bonsu revealed that he was never ready to talk about the NPP when the host asked him questions regarding the largest opposition party.
According to Oti Bonsu, after trumpeting that he and Hon. Kennedy Agyapong had left the NPP party to form their own political party, he has received numerous threats from his former party.
“I have received a lot of threats that if I don’t take care, they will kill me because I have been taking the NPP backward. Some people have even come out to publicly say so. I don’t want to talk about the NPP but the Base party. If I even die and the base party survives, I am okay”, he said.
