The national leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is expected to meet to deliberate on challenges that have surfaced during the party’s ongoing nationwide membership registration exercise.
According to him, the meeting, to be convened by the national secretariat of the party, will review concerns raised during the first week of the registration process and outline measures to address them.
Mr Boakye indicated that he personally visited a polling station at Buokrom Estate, D-Line in the Manhyia North Constituency of the Ashanti region to participate in and observe the exercise.
The visit, he said, formed part of efforts by party officials to monitor the progress of the registration and interact with members taking part in the process.
Following the initial phase of the exercise, several operational challenges have reportedly been identified at some centres. In response, the national secretariat will meet to assess the situation and find solutions to ensure the exercise proceeds without further difficulties.
The party has also assured members and prospective applicants that steps are being taken to improve the process and guarantee a smooth and efficient registration for all participants across the country.
