A communicator affiliated with the New Patriotic Party (NPP), known as Bengarzy, has stirred controversy with a bold allegation against former President John Dramani Mahama. While commenting on the physical attack suffered by former MP Hawa Koomson, Bengarzy questioned Mahama’s silence, suggesting that the former president’s lack of response is evidence of deeper personal behavior.
Without offering any proof, Bengarzy claimed he firmly believes Mahama physically assaults his wife, former First Lady Lordina Mahama. His reasoning was that if such behavior were untrue, Mahama would have spoken out publicly in support of Hawa Koomson following the assault incident.
According to Bengarzy, he had been anxiously waiting to hear the voices of both the president and his running mate, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, but says the silence from both has been deafening.
Hawa Koomson, the victim at the center of the controversy, has also voiced her frustration over the lack of support from the NDC leadership. She reportedly feels abandoned by both Mahama and Naana Jane, noting that she has not received even a courtesy call from either of them during this trying time. In her view, their silence speaks volumes and has left her disappointed and disillusioned.
