The Management of the National Service Authority (NSA) says it is expediting processes to pay two-month allowances owed to legitimate Service Personnel following a release of Funds by the Controller and Accountant-General’s Department (CAGD) last week.
The delay, it said, stems from an ongoing verification process by the Ghana Interbank Payment and Settlement Systems Limited (GhiPSS).
It said this needs to be completed to ensure accuracy and financial integrity before payments are finally effected.
“We recognise that allowances are fundamental to supporting personnel during their service year and emphasise that every Personnel deserves timely payment of their rightful stipends,” said in a statement issued on February 17, 2026.
“We acknowledge the patience and resilience demonstrated by Service Personnel during this period, and your service to the nation remains deeply valued and appreciated.”
It reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring that all verified and legitimate arrears are cleared by the close of this week.
“We will continue to provide timely updates through our official communication channels to keep personnel fully informed,” it added.
