The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced the official launch of electronic certificates (e-certificates) for National Service Personnel.
In a press statement issued on Thursaday, January 29, the Authority informed all eligible National Service Personnel that the e-certificates have now been officially released and can be accessed through the NSA portal at https://posting.gnsa.gov.gh/home/certificate-service, in line with the approved procedures outlined on the platform.
“The National Service Authority wishes to inform all eligible National Service Personnel that the e-certificates have officially been telcased, ational Service Personnel can now acces in accordance with the approved procedures provided on the platform,” the statement read.
According to the statement, past National Service Personnel who require a reprint of their physical certificates or wish to obtain an e-certificate may apply for the service instantly via the NSA portal.
“Past National Service Personnel who require reprinting of physical certificates or access to e-certificates can apply for the service instantly on the NSA portal.”
The service is available at a prescribed fee and is provided as an optional digital service, not a compulsory requirement.
The Authority further announced that the Annual Evaluation Forms for the 2024/2025 service year have been uploaded onto the NSA portal.
“In addition, the Annual Evaluation Forms for the 2024/2025 service year have been uploaded onto the NSA Portal,” the statement read.
All service personnel within the 2024/2025 service batch have been directed to download, complete and submit the duly endorsed forms to their respective District National Service Offices.
It was also clarified that personnel serving within the 2024/2025 service year will only be able to access their e-certificates after the submission and approval of the Annual Evaluation Form.
Procedure for Accessing the E-Certificate
The NSA outlined a clear process for accessing the e-certificate on the portal. Applicants are required to submit an online request using their National Service Scheme (NSS) details and await approval, which may take up to five working days. Upon approval, applicants will receive a notification via SMS or email.
Applicants are then required to make payment, complete an identity verification process by providing their Ghana Card details, and take a live facial photograph using their device’s camera.
Once verification is successfully completed, the e-certificate can be downloaded directly from the portal.
The Authority noted that all the steps are clearly outlined on the certificate service page of the NSA portal to ensure a smooth and user-friendly process.
The NSA has encouraged all personnel within the 2024/2025 service batch, as well as past service personnel, to carefully follow the outlined procedures to ensure timely access to their certificates.

In addition, the Authority called on organisations and stakeholders to accord full recognition and acceptance to e-certificates issued by the National Service Authority.
Institutions requiring further verification have been advised to contact the Authority through its official channels.
