A 31-year-old off-duty NYPD officer was robbed in the Riverdale area of the Bronx late Monday night in a daring attack.
Authorities report that the officer was inside his vehicle around 10:30 p.m. when a man on a moped approached, swung a helmet at him, and seized his belongings.
The suspect then fled on the scooter, heading toward Manhattan University. Police described him as wearing a black sweatshirt, blue jeans, and a red helmet with a black visor.
