The charitable initiative, was organised as part of his annual Christmas outreach
A renowned businessman and philanthropist, Nana Adu Gyamfi Kumanin Barima Kese, Nyankyerenease Nkosuohene, has put smiles on the faces of thousands of underprivileged people by supporting 5,000 vulnerable individuals ahead of the Christmas festivities.
The charitable initiative, organised as part of his annual Christmas outreach, targeted widows, the aged, persons living with disabilities, and economically disadvantaged families across several communities in the Offinso South Municipality of the Ashanti Region.
Beneficiaries received food items and other essential supplies to help them enjoy the festive season despite prevailing economic challenges.
Addressing beneficiaries during the distribution exercise at Abofuo on December 21, 2025, Nana Adu Gyamfi emphasised the importance of compassion, generosity and unity, especially during the Christmas season. He noted that the period serves as a reminder to support the less fortunate and share the blessings one has received.
“Christmas is about love and giving. If we are able to put food on the tables of families who may otherwise struggle, then we have truly celebrated the season,” he said.
He reiterated his commitment to humanitarian causes, explaining that giving back to society remains a key pillar of his personal values and business philosophy. He encouraged individuals and corporate organisations to contribute in their own ways to improving the lives of vulnerable members of society.
“We are blessed to be a blessing to others. As we celebrate Christmas, it is important to remember those who may not have enough to share in the joy of the season. We need each other’s support in one way or another,” he added.
Beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the timely support, describing it as a major relief and a source of hope during the festive period.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer hopeful, Kennedy Agyapong, who graced the occasion, shared in the joy of the beneficiaries and expressed profound gratitude to the Chief Executive Officer of the Shamor Group of Companies, asking the beneficiaries to remember him in their prayers.
Nana Adu Gyamfi’s gesture once again highlighted his dedication to social responsibility and community development, reinforcing his reputation as a leader who consistently prioritises the welfare of the people, especially during significant moments such as the Christmas season.

In addition to the outreach programme, Nana Adu Gyamfi Kumanin Barima Kese also rewarded 12 hardworking staff members from his various companies with brand new cars in recognition of their dedication, loyalty and long years of meritorious service.
The presentation ceremony, held at a short but colourful event, formed part of his commitment to motivating excellence and recognising employees who have contributed significantly to the growth and success of his business ventures. The beneficiaries were selected based on outstanding performance, consistency and years of service.
Speaking at the ceremony, which coincided with the distribution of food items to the 5,000 vulnerable persons at Abofuo on December 21, 2025, the Chief Executive Officer of the Shamor Group of Companies described his employees as the backbone of his businesses.
“No business can grow without dedicated people behind it. These awards are a small way of saying thank you to staff who have stood by the company and given their best over the years,” he stated.
He encouraged staff to remain committed, disciplined and passionate about their work, assuring them that dedication and loyalty would always be recognised and rewarded.
The vehicles presented included three brand new Honda Civics and nine brand new Toyota Vitz cars.
