The Postal and Courier Services Regulatory Commission (PCSRC) has published its 2025 register of licensed operators, revealing that out of 140 approved companies, a staggering 94 are limited to domestic operations. That means most players in the market are focused on internal logistics, serving the rising demand driven by e-commerce and local trade.

Only 45 companies — including global giants like DHL and FedEx — are cleared for international deliveries. Local firms like Snappy Logistics, QuickAir Ventures, and Ship247 Limited dominate the domestic space, highlighting the scale of Ghanaian enterprise in the sector.

The Commission issued a stern warning to both operators and consumers. Under Act 645, anyone running a courier service without a license risks fines, imprisonment, or both. Consumers were advised to avoid unregistered providers and report suspicious operators directly to the PCSRC.

This move isn’t just about regulation — it’s about protecting the public. With delivery services now central to commerce and daily life, the Commission’s list serves as a vital tool for verifying legitimacy and ensuring accountability.
