Chairman Akwasi Anti Asamoah, a former Fomena Constituency Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has cautioned the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, against choosing any person other than Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh (NAPO) as his running mate for the 2028 general elections.

He added that the party’s defeat in the 2024 general elections was due to voter anger and not the fault of Dr Opoku Prempeh.

“The party suffered defeat because of anger, and it is not NAPO’s fault that we lost the election. He is the best person to partner Bawumia for the presidency,” he stressed.
