Controversial evangelist Mama Pat, formerly known as Nana Agradaa, has raised concerns regarding ex-President John Mahama’s prospects in the upcoming 2024 elections, particularly following his recent engagement with prominent clergy.
Agradaa expressed her belief that Mahama was poised for a strong performance in the elections until he sought the blessing of Prophet Isaac Owusu Bempah, a well-known figure in religious circles.
In her commentary, Mama Pat suggested that the mere act of receiving prayers and blessings from Owusu Bempah could jeopardise Mahama’s chances, claiming that the prophet’s so-called anointing might lead to an unexpected defeat.
This, she warns, would have dire implications for the future of the nation. Agradaa didn’t hold back in her assertions, declaring that if Mahama were to lose in December, the prophet would bear the blame for this outcome.
Adding to the drama, Owusu Bempah, who has been identified as a prophet aligned with the New Patriotic Party (NPP), made headlines earlier this week by seemingly reversing his stance and anointing Mahama as the next president of Ghana.
This unexpected endorsement has stirred discussions and debates within political and religious communities, leaving many to speculate on the potential consequences of such a high-profile alliance.
